Jesus Is Coming

Jesus Is Coming: A Warning Drenched in Mercy

By Khanyisa Manganyi

If I say I’m ready, I’ll be lying.
Yet I yearn to kneel before my King and Father and tire Him with questions, love, and gratitude.

That day… the one we whisper about, write songs about, and sometimes push to the back of our minds—it will come.
Jesus is coming back. Not as the gentle carpenter, but as the victorious King 👑, clothed in glory, riding on the clouds ☁️, eyes like fire 🔥, with all authority in heaven and on earth.

Lately, the internet is lit up with claims that Jesus will return in September—based on Jewish feasts, blood moons 🌒, ancient calendars 📜, and mathematical calculations that only make sense if you squint really hard and ignore Scripture.

They say things like:
– “It aligns with the Feast of Trumpets!”
– “It’s exactly 2,000 years after Christ’s death!”
– “This is a Jubilee year!”
– “Look at the signs in the heavens!”

As if they’ve cracked a divine code that even angels haven’t figured out.

But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” — Matthew 24:36
So be on your guard. You do not know when that time will come.” — Mark 13:33

The Bible doesn’t ask us to calculate the day. It asks us to prepare for it.

But we don’t want to take the Lord at His Word 📖.
We say we’re Christians—yet we chase dates on YouTube and TikTok more than we open the Book of Truth.
We’d rather panic over a viral post than find peace in the promises of Scripture.

How easily we forget that Jesus doesn't return on man's schedule. He returns when the Father says it's time.

Yes, the Bible gives signs of the end times—nations rising against nations 🌍, earthquakes 🌪️, pestilence, lawlessness, hearts growing cold, people becoming lovers of self and pleasure. The Gospel reaching every corner of the earth 🌎.

These aren't countdowns. They're reminders.
Reminders that this world is not our home.
Reminders that our faith must have oil in its lamp 🕯️.
Reminders that hope has a name, and He’s coming to take us home 🕊️.

If I say I’m ready, I’ll be lying.

My heart still wrestles with sin. My prayers aren’t always consistent. I still have fears and flaws.
But deep down, I ache for that day.

I long to kneel before my King.
To look into His eyes and finally understand.
To tire Him with my questions, my love, my gratitude.
To say, “Thank You for not giving up on me.”

All these viral date predictions will do is make people panic, or worse—scoff when it doesn’t happen.

They will say, ‘Where is this ‘coming’ He promised?’” — 2 Peter 3:4

Jesus doesn’t need a trending hashtag to make His return real.
And when He comes, it won’t be because a man calculated the perfect timeline.
It’ll be because the Father stood from His throne, looked at the Son, and said,

“Go get them.”

To those setting dates: You are not God.
To those believing them: Don’t exchange truth for theatrics.

The Second Coming of Jesus isn’t a theory. It’s a promise.
But it’s a promise wrapped in mystery, so we won’t trust our timelines—we’ll trust His voice.

He’s not coming in a month.
He’s coming in a momentthe moment only the Father knows.

And when that moment comes…
Every knee will bow. Every tongue will confess.
He. Is. Lord. 🙌

Let us live like people who believe He’s coming.
Let us repent, forgive, worship, love, and walk in holiness.
And when He comes—whether in September or not—we will not be surprised.
We’ll be ready, not because of a date, but because of our faith. 🕊️
